WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE A MATERNITY SESSION?

I encourage you to contact me around 25 weeks gestation to book your session. Maternity sessions typically take place when you are between 28-32 weeks pregnant. You want your bump to be obvious but you also should still be in a comfortable stage prior to swelling.  Do not hesitate to discuss your ideas with me, prior to booking, to ensure you and I are a good fit for what you want to portray in your session.

HAIR & MAKEUP

Professional hair and makeup are always encouraged. This is a very special session and a little more glammed up hair & makeup always take the images to the next level. I am happy to help locate someone.

 

DO YOU HAVE A CLIENT CLOSET?

YES! I have a constantly growing maternity client closet that includes bodysuits, gowns, and draping fabric that you will have access to. We can work together to determine the overall styling goal for your session. From there we can decide what you will use from my client closet and/or need to purchase to bring.​

CAN MY CHILDREN BE INCLUDED?

Effective January 1, 2025: After much thought—and even some hesitation—children will no longer be included in my maternity sessions.

As a mom myself, I completely understand the desire to have your little ones in these special memories. But my heart for maternity sessions is to focus solely on you—the beautiful, strong, incredible woman growing new life. I want this to be your time to relax, feel radiant, and be completely pampered without the stress or distraction of caring for little ones during the session.

 

I am considering a separate session offering in the future that would include children in a more intentional way, and I’ll share more details once it’s available.
